The Story
The Liquid Salt project was born in 2018 from an intuition as simple as it is revolutionary: to create an innovative and healthy salt, capable of reducing excess sodium in the kitchen without compromising taste.
Paolo, a former entrepreneur with a far-sighted vision, turns to Salvatore, also a former entrepreneur, with deep experience in the field of automation.
The idea, which initially seems crazy to everyone, is to give new life to an old, abandoned water purification plant. The two meet thanks to this challenge and, right from the start, a solid understanding is born between them, made of respect and collaboration, destined to last over the years. Paolo, now retired, but a detached viewer, and Salvatore, join forces.
Liquid Salt is much more than a product:
it is a vision that combines health, taste and respect for the sea.

The Departure
In the first two years, there is a lot of work to do, as in every enterprise and vision.
Paolo dedicates himself to contacts and Salvatore redesigns the system to develop the first liquid salt: a product with 75% less sodium, enriched with marine trace elements, free of microplastics and additives. A genuine innovation, which thanks to its liquid form is distributed uniformly, making it ideal for both home use and professional catering.
In 2020, the first container leaves for China, marking the beginning of the international diffusion. From there, the project gains momentum: restaurants in the United States begin to use Liquid Salt as a customized product under their own brand, while the first requests also arrive from Saudi Arabia.
Today, after Paolo's premature death, the project continues with the same spirit of innovation and passion, carried forward by his daughter Laura, resident in German-speaking Switzerland. In January 2025, exactly one year after the loss of her father, Laura officially founded
Liquid Salt.

A New Beginning
Laura inherited her entrepreneurial soul from her father: she is dynamic, determined and deeply motivated to keep the promise made to him in their last meeting. With a solid managerial background in Wellness Centers in Luxury hotels and as Linguistics and Projects Manager for Italian in an international NGO, she leads Liquid Salt today with an eye to the future, carrying forward a legacy made of values, vision, innovation and respect for the company's roots.
